I call it flower power. It was really fun building this. I particularly enjoyed using the jigsaw to cut out the shape of the tulips. The only materials necessary were wood, paint, accessibility to a saw and glue.
Waddles relaxing in his stylish new beach chair. One day I'll actually take him to the beach, so he can enjoy the cool breeze, the hot sun, and the glistening waves. Who doesn't love the beach??!!
Shoutout to my dad for helping me build a bird feeder/bird house. A really fun way to spend the afternoon. I took inspiration from https://100things2do.ca/diy-bird-feeder, go check out her projects, they are pretty awesome. I made it for my little cousin who helped me paint it. She said, "the blue represents the sky, the green represents the grass, the yellow represents sunflowers, and the red is for the robins." I don't think I could have come up with a better colour scheme than this one. And I think Waddles really likes it, he won't budge!
It's a figure skater automata. A toy designed for children to play with. When the handle on the side is turned, the figure skater spins around. It's definitely not perfect, but trust me it's fun.
